About
Croydon Radio

Now Croydon has its roots in the former Croydon Radio, the independent community radio station co-founded by Tim Longhurst in 2011.
Croydon Radio was about giving a new voice to Croydon; its people, businesses, causes and campaigns and shining a light on the things that we loved about Croydon, the things that frustrated us, made us excited for the future or proud of its people.
Croydon Radio hosted the first extensive calendar of events for Croydon with activities promoted on air and in daily and weekly emails sent to thousands of subscribers.
After Croydon Radio closed, there was a real lack of centralised news and events coverage and so on January 1st 2018, I started Now Croydon to fill the gap and create a news hub, jobs board and events calendar to gather content from across the borough.
