It's four years since BOXPark opened its doors in Croydon, paving the way for fast food and community events in a unique setting.
The streetfood destination housed in shipping containers opened it's doors four years ago this week with a kick off music event and a wealth of world cuisines.
Having landed on the wasteland beside East Croydon, the venue opened with around 30 different restaurants. The food joints have changed over the intervening years but the concept remains fun and varied.
It's not just food and drink. Events have also been a regular attraction from DJ nights, sport and movie screenings, kids activities, stand up comedy, craft fairs and markets plus much more. Who can forget the images of footie fans reacting to England's goals in the 2018 World Cup?
The management of BOXPark Croydon signed an extension to its original 5 year lease towards the end of last year ensuring the popular destiation will be with us for the foreseeable future.
Get down to BOXPark this weekend to celebrate the birthday and try something tasty from one of more than 30 food and drink outlets. Grab a BOXPark Blackcard for discounts and easy admission.
