Get ready for Fest Norwood
From 2 until 11 August, South London Theatre hosts Fest Norwood where local businesses, venues and community comes together for a wide range of cultural and arts activities.
Look out for dance, theatre, open mic nights and much more, most of which are held at SLT's artistic base at the former West Norwood Fire Station.
SLT has committed to hosting and staging a festival every August, celebrating the positive impact that art and culture has on the community and local businesses.
Last year's inaugural event was a huge success with events including art exhibitions, heritage, music, dance, life drawing, theatre, events for toddlers, film screenings, magic, dementia workshops, acting and directing workshops, new writing, choirs, spoken word and poetry, comedy, arts & crafts, open-mic sessions, quizzes, photography, fitness, walks and tours and an unforgettable kids sing-along which brought the house down on the closing day of the festival.
