Orpheus Centre Virtual Open Week
Find out what’s behind the big blue doors at specialist college the Orpheus Centre with a special virtual Open Week held online for the first time.
The Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college in Surrey that focuses on developing independence skills through performing and visual arts and makes dramatic improvements to young disabled adults’ lives.
Each year, the Centre’s Open Day provides a fantastic opportunity to get a glimpse of Orpheus life for prospective students, past and present parents and intrigued local families. Visitors to the first-time virtual Open Week can access the website for family-friendly activities including a brand new interactive map, a tour of the Centre by student Olly, interviews with students and staff and student performances.
What’s more, there will be a fantastic variety of live events throughout the week. From dance, drawing, meditation and cooking workshops to film and drama presentations, there will be something for everyone to enjoy and be inspired by. Orpheus staff and students can’t wait share their passion for the Centre - find out what is it like to live there and how they have adapted to Lockdown.
