Short Walks in Crystal Palace
Two new self-guided walks from Invisible Palace reveal historical sights and fascinating facts in the Crystal Palace area.
Invisible Palace is a community group that comes together through shared interests in heritage, environment and culture. Over the summer they worked in partnership with The Norwood Society to publish two self-guided walks for the Crystal Palace area.
Vicar's Oak to Westow Park and Vicar's Oak to Vicar's Oak Road are two short walks that reveal historic locations, fascinating facts and fun trivia that are often overlooked.
The guides come as simple-to-follow illustrated leaflets and would usually be available to pick up in local cafes and shops around the Crystal Palace Triangle. Thankfully, you can download both from their website.
Both walks are fun and informative and a nice way to while away some time and take a breather in "the fresh air suburb" during lockdown. Find out more at https://invisiblepalace.org.uk
