Take a walk on the woodland side with illustrated maps that you can print at home
Two new guides from Croydon Council provide walking routes around Selsdon and Addington Village.
Explore Croydon and learn about your local area by following these illustrated walks with clear routes and lots of useful info and pictures.
Discover Littleheath Woods in Selsdon and explore the tranquil woodland and take in historic architecture, telling the story of Selsdon’s transformation from hillside to high street.
The Addington Village Heritgage Walk guides you through the historic village, using key buildings to explain the area’s history. The special architectural and historic interest is recognised by it being a conservation area.
The illustrated maps are designed to be printed and folded at home so you can take them with you on your walk. Or, if you prefer to spare your printer ink, download the maps to your mobile device and follow the route on screen.
Each walk is around a mile in length and will take less than an hour. But be mindful there is a climb as each walk takes in a somewhat steep hill.
View and download the maps from the Croydon Council website at https://new.croydon.gov.uk/
