Croydon restaurants, bars and cafes join Eat Out to Help Out scheme from Monday
More than fifty food and drink outlets in Croydon are set to join the Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme from Monday 3 August.
Customers can get a 50% discount (up to the value of £10 per person) on food and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy inside or take away.
There are no vouchers or discount codes required and no special booking needs to be made (unless the venue already has arrangements in place due to social distancing and contact tracing).
The promotion runs until the end of August but is not available everyday. Eateries in BOXPark, the Whitgift Centre and Centrale are taking part as well as other food destinations around the town centre, south Croydon and further afield.
So get out this week and Tuck in!. Have a delicious meal at a local cafe, restaurant or bar and enjoy the discount. You'll also be helping local businesses get back into shape after the lockdown, so what's not to like?
A full list of the participating venues in Croydon plus terms and conditions can be found on the Check Out Croydon website.
You can find more information on the scheme as well as a useful search for participating restaurants around the UK at https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/eat-out-to-help-out/find-a-restaurant/
