Pride and Prejudice at Wandle Park Bandstand
Croydon Operatic and Dramatic Association (CODA) stage an outdoor production of Pride and Prejudice this week.
Over four days, CODA will be at the bandstand at Croydon’s Wandle Park with a staging of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, adapted by Jon Jory.
CODA is a community group that has produced professional quality shows and events for more than 70 years. It's one of the best amateur dramatic groups in the area.
CODA strives to make theatre as accessible as possible in the borough. For Pride and Prejudice, they are offering a “pay what you can” performance on Wednesday 27 July, for those who are unable to meet the usual ticket price of £13.00 or £14.00 for the rest of the week’s performances.
Audience members will be able to select their own ticket price from £1 upwards for the Wednesday performance. If you are able to pay slightly more than the standard price for a ticket, this would also be most welcome and help not only to cover costs, but also help other people access the joys of live theatre and this wonderful story.
