South Facing at the Crystal Palace Bowl
A new festival comes to the iconic Crystal Palace Bowl this summer.
South Facing is a month long programme of events and includes a series of concerts around "the rusty laptop" in Crystal Palace park.
Dizzee Rascal, Supergrass and The Streets are just some of the big names taking part.
Running throughout August, the festival will host 12 headline performances as well as midweek community events to help bring the historic venue back into regular use.
After being dormant for more than a decade, it's more great news for this historic venue. A recent crowdfunding campaign, boosted by a Mayor of London grant, has raised over £50,000 to repair the stage and breath new life into this beautiful performance space.
