Croydon Nocturn World Naked Bike Ride

The World Naked Bike Ride is a global protest movement with rides in cities around the world, raising awareness of issues such as safety of cyclists on the road, reducing oil dependence and saving the planet. Let's make the planet great again!
WNBR’s themes are to:
- protest against the global dependency on oil
- curb car culture
- obtain real rights for cyclists
- demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
- celebrate body freedom

Meet at 233 Shirley Church Road, CR0 5AB. Arrive from 16:30 assemble at 19:15 for 19:30 departure.
The location is a gated, private residence, so you will be able to relax and prepare for the ride in privacy. Although supporters and friends are welcome our policy is to deny access to photographers and gawkers.
Genuine press photographers may be permitted by prior agreement with the Ride Leader. This will include no photograph being taken without the subject’s permission and pictures can only be published if a signed model release is obtained. Message the host (David) by 6/6/22 if you wish to make such an agreement. Anyone taking photographs without permission or acting in an intrusive manner will be made to delete their pictures and leave the premises.
The through leafy suburbs and into the centre of Croydon before returning to the start point.

Some paints, sponges and brushes will be available to paint yourselves with slogans

As well as promoting healthy life choices it can also be the best fun you can ever have on two wheels. The London ride has the excitement of a carnival, with big crowds to cheer it on. It is a "naked bike ride" but you can be "as bare as you dare" - body painting and fancy dress are welcome. It is fun, legal and all in a worthy cause.
You must not to engage in sexually provocative or otherwise inappropriate behaviour that will bring the WNBR and its causes into disrepute. Such behaviour may also be a criminal offence, and if you see any on the ride, please report it to a marshal.
